Express installation files download quickly because of lesser size and install quickly. I am going to select Download full files for all approved updates and click Next.

Recently I tried installing SCCM 2012 and the setup procedure failed to download the prerequisites. Based on some results I found online, it appears that this issue affects several versions of SCCM, more precisely 2007 up to 1606.
I have been trying to download prerequisites of SCCM 2012 R2 on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter OS, but ran into the same issue. I have been trying to install SCCM 2012 R2 SP2. The error messages I have encountered are as follows:
Maurice, Thanks for your assistance through mail,My first problem with this process was that my SCCM server was an older version than what was needed for this. i was running sccm 2012 R2 sp1, and I needed CB 1511(I did not see that mentioned anywhere) for this to work, unfortunately I do not have a license for this version, so I cannot proceed, If I ever convince my manager to buy a new license i will pursue this further,as this is much easier than manually updating drivers in sccm.

So today in this post, lets go through a full step by step how can you deploy SCCM 2012 R2 in your infrastructure, for this demo, i will install SCCM 2012 R2 in Windows Server 2012 R2.
Look carefully at the names of the patch files. The patch number (46 in this example) will be fairly obvious, but the P1/P2/P3 distinction requires looking for the label embedded in the patch title or filename. The filename will follow the format SAPSETUP90PxSP00P_xx-20008539.EXE. The first x is the P1/2/3 number, and the second xx is the patch number (46). In this example, we will choose SAPSETUP90P2SP00P_46-20008539.EXE. Add it to your download basket.
It may be caused by the network not being ready when the TS resumes after a restart. Using a VBScript to pause TS execution for a minute or two after each restart is a proven workaround. Also, see this hotfix from December, 2014, for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager: Applications may not be downloaded in System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager
With SCCM 2012 R2, new task sequence variables are introduced that may overcome this problem by allowing the task sequence to retry to download files or policy instead of quickly giving up and failing the step.
We use Trend Micro OfficeScan as our antivirus solution. The OfficeScan real-time scanning was holding the file open, preventing the task sequencer from hashing the file to determine that it had been successfully downloaded. This caused the Package to fail and therefore the task sequence to fail. Uninstalling OfficeScan resolved the problem.
I have found this error deploying using SCCM 2012 R2, I followed your steps and I still get this error, it has the exact same errors as your screen shot, I can ping my server sccm, but when I use my FQDN, it fails. what other options is there to resolve this? 2ff7e9595c
